Lambda Phage DNA

TappingMode provides clear and reproducible resolution of lambda phage DNA on mica. The decrease in lateral force gained when using this technique enables small molecules like DNA to remain stable when imaged in air. TappingMode also provides excellent contrast when imaging small molecules because there is less sample compression, which can be important when imaging biological samples that are only twenty angstroms tall. 1µm scan.
