High Speed Data Capture: NanoScope V offers fast recordings of events on the nanoscale, at speeds unmatched by any commercially available SPM controller. It allows researchers to record cantilever response with unprecedented time resolution, which in turn makes it possible to investigate tip-sample interactions such as unfolding of macromolecules or sudden mechanical deformations of a sample under applied load, as is done in nano-mechanical testing of thin films or composite—synthetic or organic.
